Installation

1. Confirm that the steering is mechanically unlocked.
2. Disconnect the original ELV / ESL connector.
3. Connect the original connector to the emulator.
4. Clear CAS fault memory or counters with a suitable diagnostic tool if required.
5. Check operation before returning the vehicle to service.

Programming Requirements

The emulator does not require coding. On some vehicles, CAS fault memory or counters must be cleared separately with a diagnostic tool. Installation and diagnosis should be carried out by a qualified automotive electronics technician.
