Terms and Conditions
1. Seller and scope
OBDPoint.com is operated by Majoma, MB, company code 306697484, VAT number LT100016716516, registered address Reikjaviko g. 10-14, LT-94253 Klaipėda, Lithuania. Contact us at info@obdpoint.com or via WhatsApp.
These terms apply to orders placed through OBDPoint.com. “Consumer” means a natural person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession. Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over these terms. The version available when an order is placed applies to that order.
2. Products and compatibility
Product pages describe the main characteristics, contents, availability and any stated software or update terms. Vehicle coverage may depend on make, model, year, control unit, region, software and the exact function required. A general compatibility claim is not a guarantee that every function works on every vehicle. If a particular function is essential, ask us before ordering and provide the vehicle identification and the required task.
Diagnostic and programming equipment must be used lawfully, with suitable technical knowledge and in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Product-specific update, licence and subscription conditions are stated on the relevant product page and do not reduce statutory rights.
3. Orders and contract
Before placing an order, you can review the products, delivery address, available shipping service, payment method, taxes and total price. We send an acknowledgement after receiving your order. We may contact you if a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error occurred or legal or shipping restrictions prevent supply. In that case we will offer an appropriate solution or refund any payment received for the affected order.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are displayed in euros. Applicable VAT is calculated according to the delivery destination and shown at checkout. The delivery charge and the full amount payable are shown before the order is submitted. For deliveries outside the EU VAT area, local import VAT, customs duty and carrier clearance or handling fees may be charged on arrival. Unless checkout expressly says otherwise, these charges are not included in our price and are paid by the recipient. OBDPoint does not pay import charges.
5. Payment
The currently configured methods are card payment through Stripe and direct bank transfer (SEPA). Available options are shown at checkout. Stripe may offer eligible wallet or accelerated card options within its payment service; availability depends on the device and Stripe settings. For bank transfer, the order is processed after cleared funds are received. We do not receive full card details.
6. Delivery
Available destinations, methods and prices are calculated at checkout from the delivery country, postal code, parcel characteristics and currently available services. Depending on the destination, options may include tracked postal delivery, standard or express courier and parcel locker delivery. A service is offered only when it appears for the address entered at checkout. We normally prepare in-stock orders for dispatch within 1–2 business days. Any transit estimate starts after dispatch and is not a guaranteed arrival date unless expressly agreed.
Provide a complete and accurate name, address, postal code and international-format phone number. We will provide tracking when the selected service supports it. If the parcel is visibly damaged, please document it and contact us promptly; this does not limit your statutory rights. For consumer orders, the risk of loss or damage generally passes when you or a person you designate, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Unless a different period is agreed, consumer goods are delivered without undue delay and within the applicable statutory period.
7. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer may withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after the consumer or a nominated third party other than the carrier receives the goods. For an order delivered in parts, the period runs from receipt of the last item. Send a clear withdrawal statement before the period expires, using our online withdrawal form or emailing info@obdpoint.com. Include your name, order number and an email address for confirmation. A model statement is provided in our Returns & Refunds page; using it is optional.
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us that you withdraw. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before it expires. Please do not continue using the product after giving notice. You bear the direct return cost for non-defective goods, unless we agree otherwise or law requires us to bear it. For a full refund, return the product in like-new condition, complete with its original retail box, all accessories, manuals and supplied materials. You may inspect it as you would in a physical shop, but not use it beyond that. Use or activation beyond necessary inspection, missing items, damage, or missing or damaged original retail packaging may reduce its value. Where permitted by law, we may deduct the proven reduction in value from the refund.
We refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option, excluding any extra amount paid for an upgrade such as express delivery. We refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide reliable evidence that they have been sent, whichever happens first. Refunds go to the original payment method and, for a bank transfer, to the originating account where it can be verified. A different method is used only if you expressly agree and it causes you no fee.
The statutory withdrawal exceptions apply only where their legal conditions are met, for example goods made to the consumer’s specifications, sealed software after unsealing, or digital content supplied without a physical medium when performance began with the required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. An exception is not applied automatically to all diagnostic devices or software.
8. Defects, legal guarantee and complaints
Consumer goods must conform to the contract. The seller’s statutory liability generally covers defects that become apparent within two years after delivery, subject to applicable law. A manufacturer’s commercial warranty or update programme is additional and cannot remove statutory remedies. If goods are defective, damaged in transit or incorrect, contact us with the order number, a description and, if available, photos or diagnostic information. We will assess the case and provide repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as required by law. We cover reasonable return costs where the goods are confirmed defective or incorrectly supplied.
Defect and non-conformity claims are separate from a change-of-mind withdrawal. Normal use or activation does not, by itself, remove the statutory legal guarantee, and the original box is not required to make a defect claim. For a complaint, email info@obdpoint.com. Consumers may also contact the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) or their local European Consumer Centre. Lithuanian law governs these terms without removing mandatory protections that apply to a consumer in their country of residence.
9. Business purchases
Business buyers can provide company name, registration number and VAT number at checkout. The statutory consumer withdrawal right does not automatically apply to purchases made for business purposes. Any separate business return or warranty arrangement must be confirmed in writing; mandatory rules still apply.
