Introduction

Vgate iCar Pro 2S is a Bluetooth 5.2 OBD2 adapter for diagnostic applications on iOS, Android and Windows. Plug it into a compatible vehicle’s 16-pin OBD2 port and connect through a supported third-party app.

Diagnostic Functions

• Read Codes, including generic and manufacturer-specific fault codes where supported by the app and vehicle
• Clear Codes where supported by the app and vehicle
• View live ECU sensor data, including engine speed, fuel-system status, fuel pressure and oxygen-sensor voltage when available

App & Connectivity

A compatible diagnostic application is required. On Android and Windows, pair with Android-Vlink using code 1234, then select the adapter in the app. On iOS, select the adapter in the app without pairing it in the phone’s Bluetooth settings. Available diagnostic functions depend on the selected app, licence and vehicle.

Vehicle Coverage

For 12 V petrol vehicles and 12 V light diesel vehicles up to 6.5 t with standard OBD2/EOBD support. European EOBD petrol vehicles from 2001 and diesel vehicles from 2003/2004; US OBD2 vehicles from 1996 and Canadian OBD2 vehicles from 1998. Automatic wake-up also supports hybrid and pure-electric vehicle types; diagnostic coverage still depends on the app and exact vehicle.

Software & Updates

Free firmware updates are available for genuine devices. Diagnostic apps and any app licences are separate from the adapter; their availability and terms depend on the chosen app.
